Pilot nursing program for Indigenous

As part of its Indigenous Employment Program, CEG Port Lincoln has been instrumental in pulling together the aboriginal nursing program in partnership with Tafe SA, Complete Personnel, The Salvation Army Employment Plus, Aboriginal Employment Initiatives anf the Aboriginal Access program.

Eleven trainees are completeing their diploma in Enrolled Nursing over two years, with CEG providing mentoring and monitoring of the trainees and hosting them out while they undertake their training.

If successful, this pilot program will expand accross South Australia in the future to offer opportunities to trainees around the State.
