Lana
When Lana started looking for work at the age of 31 she knew it could be a struggle, but she had no idea how much of a challenge she faced. With restrictive personal circumstances and no transport to or from interviews Lana was at a great disadvantage. Everything seemed to be stacked against her and as the months passed she found her confidence was ebbing away. She showed immense tenacity however, and after 36 months, with a little help from TSAEP , she has now found permanent employment for the first time in her life.
However with some support, encouragement and direction, Lana recently found permanent employment with the Department of Aging, Disabilities and Home Care. All reports show that she is an enthusiastic and reliable employee who is thoroughly enjoying her job. And Lana is now an inspiration for all who watched her keep on trying, no matter what, and her refusal to give up. Great work, Lana!
