The Personal Support Program continues to grow within The Salvation Army Employment Plus and the broader Salvation Army. The program provides assistance to those with multiple barriers which prevent them from participating in employment. The Personal Support Program operates from 14 sites around the country and, where sites do not exist, we work with The Salvation Army to provide advice and resources.
The Personal Support Programme is free and aims to provide support services that are tailored to meet your individual needs. We will work in partnership with you, addressing barriers as you work towards your personal goals.Participation in the Personal Support Programme can be up to 2 years and you may choose to withdraw at any time. Your involvement in the Personal Support Programme is regarded by Centrelink as an approved activity and you will continue to receive Newstart or Youth Allowance.
