  • Why do you want to work for this company?

  • What qualifications do you have which will make you successful in this field?
  • What did you like most/least about your old job?
  • What is your major strength?
  • What is your major weakness?
  • If you were me, why would you employ yourself?
  • What are your ideas on salary?
  • If you could design your own job, what would your duties be?
  • Do you have any questions?

Q. What information should I supply at the interview?

It would be beneficial for you to give the job applicant a brief description of your company, what you do and who your main target market is.  This would also be the time to give the job applicant a detailed position description including the key relationships, duties and responsibilities of the roles, the competencies required for the job as well as the performance measures and indicators.  A total remuneration package including salary, superannuation and other benefits could also be included in the position description.
