Training Plus is an initiative of The Salvation Army Employment Plus, providing flexible learning solutions to job seekers to help them gain employment.
Our wide range of programs include accredited and non-accredited training courses, all of which are designed to equip job seekers for ongoing employment. Qualifications range from short courses to Diplomas.
We offer training in resume and cover letter preparation, interview and job search skills, as well as accredited industry-specific training in fields like Business, Hospitality, Retail, IT, Food Hygiene, OHS and First Aid.
Training Plus services are available to anyone across Australia. You do not need to be a registered job seeker with Employment Plus to enrol in our courses.
Every business has its own unique training requirements – whether they be upskilling your existing staff, training new staff or helping prospective job-candidates.
Training Plus can work with you to design a flexible program that reflects the needs of your business and your employees. We can build your specific recruitment practices and expectations into the training.
Employers are welcome to attend our training sessions to meet prospective job seekers, share information about their recruitment needs and observe job seekers in training.
Courses can be delivered in the workplace or at one of our many locations across Australia.
