How to offer work experience
We understand the value of work experience, not only in its ability to help job seekers into jobs that they love, but also because it can open up opportunities for growth for the employers we work with.
We only offer our job seekers work experience placements that genuinely improve their chances at finding a job, or lead to a direct position, by partnering with key government programs, including:
Youth jobs PaTH
PaTH internships enable businesses to trial young people to see if they are the right fit for the business, before they hire. Over the course of the program, participants gain valuable work experience and are able to demonstrate their skills to potential employers.
Work for the dole
Work for the Dole activities can be hosted by not-for-profit organisations and government agencies. The program gives eligible organisations an extra set of hands to help to undertake activities that would not normally be possible.
National Work Experience Programme
The National Work Experience Programme is a voluntary work experience programme that places job seekers in real life work experience placements. It helps job seekers gain experience and confidence, while demonstrating skills to potential employers. A placement can be undertaken in businesses run for profit, not-for-profit organisations and local, state, territory and Australian government agencies.
