What is Launch?
The Salvation Army Employment Plus Launch program, funded by Jobs Victoria, is a free, friendly service which helps people find their first job in Australia.
If you are a refugee, a person seeking asylum or otherwise new to Australia and with working rights, we can help you get ready for work and provide introductions to local employers with vacancies.
Participation in Launch is voluntary. These services are designed for people who are new to Australia and have not worked in this country before. You will need to have a valid right to work in Australia before registering for support.
Launch helps you build skills and confidence, find a job and stay employed.

Launch is currently being offered in the following areas:
• Metro - Northern
• Metro - South Eastern
Am I eligible for Launch?
Launch is open to anyone in the community from a Culturally or Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background including:
• Refugee or person seeking asylum
• Hold a valid visa or right to work in Australia
• Be actively seeking work or willing to engage in regular job search.
