What is the Individual Fund?

The Individual Fund is financial support available to active Parent Pathways participants. The fund is designed to help cover the real costs that come with moving towards employment, study, or new skills.

What can the Individual Fund be used for?

You can use your Individual Fund for things like:

  • Education and training:
Course fees, books, or short courses to help you build skills or confidence.

  • Work essentials:
Tools, uniforms, or equipment you need to start a new job.

  • Transport:
Driving lessons, public transport cards, or help with car costs to get you to study, interviews, or work.

  • Childcare:
Covering costs to help you access training or job opportunities.

  • Communication:
Mobile phone credit or a device to help you stay connected.

  • Daily essentials:
Grocery or fuel vouchers to support you and your family while you work towards your goals.

Your mentor will talk through what’s most helpful for you and help organise anything you’re eligible for.

How do I access the Individual Fund?

  1. Talk to your Parent Pathways mentor. Let them know what you need help with, they’re here to listen and support you.

  2. Work together to make a plan. Your mentor will guide you through what the fund can be used for, and help with any forms or paperwork.

  3. Get the support that fits your goals. There’s no one-size-fits-all, your fund is flexible and designed around you.

Are there other supports?

Yes! As a Parent Pathways participant, you may also receive:

  • Engagement support vouchers (up to $250 each year), which can be used for groceries, fuel, or training.

  • Personalised mentoring and practical help every step of the way.
