Getting back into study or training after a break for parenting can feel exciting - and a little daunting. One challenge many parents face is having the right technology, like a laptop, to complete courses and assignments. If this is something on your mind, we’re here to help.

Financial Support for Training

Through our Parent’s Pathways program, eligible parents and carers can access financial support for training, which may be able to help cover costs associated with obtaining a laptop. We work with you to make the financial side of returning to study or work more manageable.

Bridging Skill Gaps

Having the right tools is just one part of the picture. Technology can feel intimidating if you’ve been away from work or study for a while. That’s why we also offer practical support, including short courses and training to help you get comfortable with essential programs, online platforms, and digital skills. These sessions are designed to bridge any skill gaps and give you the confidence to tackle study, work, or job applications with ease.

We understand that returning to study isn’t just about the academic side, it’s about feeling ready, capable, and supported. By combining financial assistance with practical tech guidance, our goal is to help you take that next step with confidence.

If getting a laptop or brushing up your tech skills has been holding you back, now’s a great time to reach out and see how we can help. With the right support, you can confidently get back to learning, training, or preparing for work, and feel capable every step of the way.
