We are delighted to confirm that Employment Plus will be providing services across 12 Employment Services Areas for the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, which will replace our DES program from 1 November 2025.

We will continue to help those living with a disability to prepare for, find and maintain work in Ipswich (QLD), Logan (QLD), Northern Sydney (NSW), Maroondah (VIC) West & North West (TAS) and Launceston (TAS).

In addition to these existing locations, we’re thrilled to be expanding our support services into the following areas: Hunter (NSW), Lower Hunter (NSW), Central Western Sydney (NSW), Outer Western Sydney (NSW), Bayside (VIC) and Monash (VIC). Unfortunately, we will no longer be providing this service in the ACT Queanbeyan and Central Coast areas.

If you’re a current DES participant, you will soon receive direct communications from the Department of Social Services about how the transition to IEA will impact you. You don’t need to do anything right now.

If you’re keen to know more about our IEA program and the employment support provided by Employment Plus with us, you can contact us here to learn more.

In addition to employment opportunities, all our IEA participants will have access to our range of broader support programs operated by The Salvation Army. This includes support for those experiencing homelessness, family and domestic violence, drug and alcohol addiction, and financial hardship, as well as tailored services for youth and people seeking asylum.

The new IEA program will see us deliver more services in more locations across Australia, which means we need to grow our team. If you are interested in joining EPlus, and being a part of our team delivering compassionate and quality employment support to those with disability, please consider registering your interest to work with us here.
