At The Salvation Army Employment Plus, we’re excited to share that a new Australian Government initiative, Inclusive Employment Australia will launch in 2025, replacing Disability Employment Services (DES).

This program is designed to make finding and keeping work easier for people with invisible and visible disabilities. It’s more flexible, more inclusive, and tailored to your personal needs.

What makes IEA different?

Wider access: expanded eligibility to support more people with visible and invisible disabilities.

No time limits: support is ongoing and no longer capped at two years.

Flexible support: from intensive preparation to less hands-on help, depending on your needs.

Support for you: personalised employment support that puts you at the centre of the process.

What This Means for You

Instead of a one-size fits all approach, IEA will offer the opportunity for more choice, personalised help, and better opportunities to find meaningful work that lasts.

At The Salvation Army Employment Plus, we’re committed to guiding both job seekers through this transition.

Stay tuned for updates as we move closer to the launch on November 1, 2025.
