Switching to Employment Plus

If you're already registered as a job seeker with Centrelink and have been connected to a different Workforce Australia employment services provider, you can switch to Employment Plus if you wish, by completing a transfer application.

Registering with Centrelink

If you are not already registered as a job seeker with Centrelink, click here for our step-by-step guide on how to do this. As part of the registration process you will be asked to choose a service provider (i.e. Employment Plus or another provider of your choice) and also the job seeker program you are enrolling in (Workforce Australia, DES, ParentsNext etc).

Choosing a job seeker program

Depending on your circumstances and location, you may be eligible to enter a different program other than Workforce Australia. DES (Disability Employment Services) is a specialised program for people living with a disability (including mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression and temporary illness), while ParentsNext helps parents with children under the age of six years, return to the workforce. We offer a range of different programs in various locations - please see below for more information on each of them.

Selecting Employment Plus as your employment services provider

You can choose Employment Plus as your employment services provider if you live near one of our offices. To find out whether there is an Employment Plus office near you, check our ‘Find your nearest office’ page here.

In some cases, you can also choose us even if you do not live near one of our offices. If you don’t see an Employment Plus office in your local area, watch this video to find out if we may still be able to work with you.
